DTM Low VOC Polyurethane

L12.1.K1 is a high quality DTM product in gloss finish . It can be applied over well prepared hot and cold rolled steel, galvanized steel and aluminum. It can also be applied on well prepared fiberglass, wood and most plastic substrates. Unlike most competitors DTM products L12.1.K1 has anti corrosive properties designed to protect metal substrates. It is both a National Rule and VOC Complaint product in all North American markets when the appropriate activators and reducers are selected.

Suggested Uses

  • Outstanding Gloss and color retention are desired.

  • Outstanding adhesion and flexibility is required.

  • Excellent chemical resistance is required.

  • Low VOC coatings are mandated.

  • Tremendous adhesion when used as DTM

  • Excellent Salt Fog Resistance when used as DTM

Mixing Ratio

Mix: Mix three (3) parts base color to one (1) part hardener.

Reduce 10% with airless, 15%-20% with air assist airless and pressure pot, 33% with cup gun using selected suitable reducer.
